On June 5, 2024, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, in collaboration with Mentee Institutes Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, Shobhit University, Meerut, Raghunath Girls' Post-Graduate College, Meerut, Tika Ram Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Aligarh, and S.S.V P.G College, Hapur, organized an insightful session on "Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunities for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs."
The event commenced with a welcome note by Dr. Gaurav Kumar, IIC Head at Galgotias University, who introduced and welcomed the esteemed speakers. The session featured keynote talks by two distinguished experts: Dr. Ashutosh Pastor, Senior Manager and Head of Incubation at FITT, IIT Delhi, and Dr. V K Arora, Chief Executive Officer at IGDTUW Anveshan Foundation.
Dr. Ashutosh Pastor and Dr. V K Arora shared their expertise on various types of angel investment and venture capital funding opportunities available for early-stage entrepreneurs. Their insights provided valuable guidance for budding entrepreneurs looking to secure funding for their innovative ventures.
The event also featured a ceremonial segment where Prof. Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IQAC, presented a memento to Dr. V K Arora, and Mr. Praveen Kapoor, Co-founder of BeBoss Technology, presented a memento to Dr. Ashutosh Pastor, as tokens of appreciation for their contributions.
Following the keynote addresses, a lively question-and-answer session took place, during which participants posed their queries to the speakers and received comprehensive and satisfactory responses. This interactive segment allowed attendees to gain further clarity and practical advice on navigating the funding landscape.
